What is a Tire Recycling Plant?
Tire Recycling Plant is a complete recycling system designed to process waste tires into valuable recycled materials such as rubber granules, rubber powder, steel wire, and textile fiber. By combining shredding, crushing, screening, magnetic separation, and fiber separation technologies, the plant efficiently converts end-of-life tires into reusable resources.
Our tire recycling line can handle a wide range of tire types, including passenger car tires, truck tires, bus tires, agricultural tires, and off-the-road (OTR) tires. Depending on the required output size and production capacity, the recycling line can be customized to produce rubber chips, rubber granules, or fine rubber powder for different industrial applications.
A complete tire recycling plant typically includes a tire debeader, tire shredder, tire crusher, magnetic separator, fiber separator, and screening system. These machines work together to achieve high-purity material recovery and maximize the value of recycled tire products. Recovered rubber can be used in sports surfaces, playgrounds, rubber mats, modified asphalt, and various rubber manufacturing industries, while separated steel wire can be sold directly to steel recycling facilities.
What Types of Tires Can a Tire Recycling Plant Process?
Tire Recycling Plant is designed to process a wide variety of waste tires from different industries and applications. Depending on the tire size, structure, and recycling requirements, the system can be configured to handle passenger car tires, truck tires, bus tires, agricultural tires, construction vehicle tires, and off-the-road (OTR) tires. Advanced shredding and separation technologies ensure efficient processing of both standard and heavy-duty tires while maximizing the recovery of rubber, steel wire, and textile fiber.
For smaller tires such as passenger car and bicycle tires, our tire recycling line can directly reduce the material into rubber chips, granules, or fine rubber powder. For larger truck, mining, and OTR tires, pre-processing equipment such as a tire debeader or tire cutter can be integrated to improve production efficiency and protect downstream machinery. The flexibility of the system allows recyclers to process mixed tire streams and adapt to changing market demands.
Whether recycling end-of-life vehicle tires, industrial tires, or scrap rubber products, Tire Recycling Plants provide a reliable solution for converting waste tires into high-value recycled materials with high recovery rates and consistent output quality.
Tire Recycling Plant Process Flow
Through the whole process of intelligent automation, waste tires resource system realizes the high-value recycling of tires: the tire bead wires are precisely stripped with a tire debeader. Tires are crushed into 50-100mm by a double-shaft shredder, and then crushed into 10-20mm by a rubber rasper. The residual wire is completely separated by bipolar magnetic separations. Furthermore, the crushed rubber is processed into 1-7mm by a rubber granulator or 5-80 mesh by a grinder. There is zig-zag air separator to remove fiber impurities, and a pulse dust removal system to achieve clean production, resulting in clean and high-purity rubber products. The entire system is monitored by a PLC intelligent control center and has fault warning and linkage control functions. Depending on customer requirements, the final output can range from coarse rubber chips to fine rubber powder.
