Plastic crusher belongs to the equipment system that covers the entire crushing process, and its application range covers all links from primary coarse crushing to deep fine crushing.

In the plastic recycling process, shredders and crushers serve as the core crushing equipment, and there are significant differences in their functional positioning and technical characteristics, as follows:

1、 Equipment positioning and division of labor boundary

Plastic crusher belongs to the equipment system that covers the entire crushing process, and its application range covers all links from primary coarse crushing to deep fine crushing. The shredder is a coarse crushing pretreatment equipment in the crusher system, mainly responsible for the first crushing process of plastic materials.

2、 Core technical parameters and working principle

Shredder: Adopting a low-speed high torque design, the speed is usually between 300-600 revolutions per minute. Its working principle is to achieve tearing and crushing of large and irregular plastics through differential shear motion of biaxial or multi axial blades, resulting in 10-100mm sheet-like coarse materials. The advantage of this device is that it can effectively handle tough plastics and materials containing impurities, avoiding problems such as material entanglement and melting.

Crusher: Adopting a high-speed impact shear structure, the speed is generally between 1000-3000 revolutions per minute. It utilizes the kinetic energy impact and shear action of high-speed rotating blades to further refine the roughly crushed plastic into uniform particles of 2-10mm, providing qualified raw materials for subsequent granulation, modification and other processes.

3、 Applicable scenarios and process value

Shredder: As the front-end pre-treatment core equipment for plastic recycling, the shredder can process various types of plastics such as PET bottles, HDPE drums, PP woven bags, ABS household appliance shells, etc. By reducing the volume and standardizing the shape of plastics, material transportation costs can be reduced, laying the foundation for subsequent sorting and cleaning processes.

Crusher: It undertakes the function of deep crushing and can accurately control the particle size of the discharged material according to different process requirements, meeting specific requirements such as standardization of granulation raw materials and refinement of filling modified materials. It is a key refinement equipment in the plastic recycling process.
